The 50th Annual Athens Preservation Awards, presented by Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation, will highlight the best preservation projects from the past year and the stories behind them.

Part of ACHF's mission is to increase awareness of the value of historic resources to the Athens community. The annual awards play an important role in highlighting the projects and the people behind them that keep the town's historic fabric vibrant.

This year’s awards show will also introduce our new annual Athens Places in Peril list, intended to raise awareness about endangered properties the public feels have historic and cultural value. Nominees may include - but are not limited - to historic homes, buildings, structures, cultural landscapes, and cemeteries.
