The East Athens Educational Dance Center proudly presents its annual production, Winning: The Champion Within, at the Historic Morton Theatre.
Winning the Champion Within is a dynamic showcase highlighting the gifted students enrolled in the East Athens Educational Dance Center’s Accelerated Programs. Featuring ballet, modern, tap, African, and contemporary dance, this inspiring production will uplift audiences.
This beloved annual performance is a cherished family tradition and a favorite within the Athens community. Winning the Champion Within celebrates perseverance, excellence, and the inner strength of every dancer, while continuing to honor the legacy of Lois Thomas Ewings.
Please note: Matinee performances are scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Lanes along West Washington Street across from the Morton Theatre will be closed for school bus parking for both performances.
