Equipment

Please see technical specifications to assure that any presenter-provided equipment and set pieces are compatible with the auditorium and with load in/out requirements. All rentals include use of The Morton podium, black stage curtains, 12' square movie screen, and tables and chairs in The Morton on-hand inventory. Use of these complimentary items must be requested in advance in order to ensure availability. The Morton can assist with locating vendors and other items needed for your production. "Large" is defined by anything that would take two or more people to load in or out of the venue. Any such items will need to be loaded in and out of the loading door, which is located 17' above street level and requires rental of the Morton's forklift, operated by a Morton employee. Dimensions of the loading door are 4' x 9'

PLEASE NOTE: As of July 1, 2025 the Morton Theatre is the sole box office outlet and ticket distributor for events held at the venue.

Our full box office, provides in-person, telephone and online ticket sales. Fees for this service are a $30 set-up fee, a $0.30 per-ticket printing fee, and labor costs for a box office technician on performance days at the prevailing contract rate, with a four-hour minimum per day.
